Certificates
ISSUING OF CERTIFICATES FROM SCHOOL RECEPTION/OFFICE
Where possible, certificates should be collected at Prize Giving in the Michaelmas term following the results.
If this is not possible, students themselves can collect their certificates from school reception during school hours in term-time. You must bring a form of Identification with you.
If students wish to have their certificates posted to them they can pay £3 by bank transfer to cover the cost of postage. Please contact Mrs Jahn to arrange. sjahn@ems.health.www.4bearsonline.com
If you forgot to collect your certificates you can pay £3 by bank transfer to cover the cost of postage. Please contact Mrs Jahn to arrange. sjahn@ems.health.www.4bearsonline.com
Alternatively students can nominate someone to collect their certificates but must provide a signed letter permitting collection with the details of their date of birth and exam number as well as the name of the person they are authorising to collect on their behalf.
As set out by the Joint Council for Qualifications, the school has no obligation to keep these certificates or make them available beyond a period of 12 months after issue.
It is worth noting that these certificates will be required in future for scrutiny by potential employers and/or academic institutions. As such, it is in the student's interest to take responsibility for the collection of these important documents.
